About this Privacy Policy. Within the framework of your participation in the MIX.E exhibition, personal information is collected and processed. This information is only collected if it is necessary for our company to carry out the treatments related to your participation and will only be used to send you proposals useful to your professional activity. The company QILINN, organizer of MIX.E, is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to our MIX.E event, website, applications and other related services (each of which is referred to as a "Service") that reference or contain a link to this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy may be supplemented by additional privacy statements, terms and conditions or notices provided to you. The QILINN company that owns or operates the relevant Service, as identified in this Privacy Policy, is generally the primary processor of your personal information provided or collected by or for the Service. 

Information we collect
We collect information about you in a number of ways: from your contribution via our web forms, from badge scans by exhibitors or at conferences from application forms and other mechanisms from third party sources, via automated technologies. 

Data you provide to us
The types of personal information we collect directly from you depends on how you interact with us and the relevant Service, and may include the following: - contact information, such as name, email address, mailing address, social media username, and phone number; - account login credentials, such as username and password, password recovery messages and similar security information - communication preferences, including matchmaking, event planning, networking choices and language preference. To ensure the safety and well-being of event participants, we may implement disease prevention measures, which may include collecting health-related data through forehead temperature screening, testing and tracing with the appropriate health authority, monitoring for visible symptoms, or referral to a quarantine facility or medical personnel. 

Data from other sources 
We may also obtain personal information about you from our group companies and other third parties, including: - partners with whom we offer co-branded services or with whom we engage in joint marketing activities; - social networks where you grant the Service permission to access your data on one or more networks; and/or - publicly available data sources and providers from which we obtain data to validate or supplement information we hold. 

Data from use of or presence on the Service
Our Service may automatically collect information about how you and the device you use, interact with the Service, including: - computer, device and connection information, such as IP address, browser type and version, operating system, platform and other software installed on your device, unique device identifier and other technical identifiers, error reports and performance data ; - Usage Data, such as the features you used, the settings you selected, your URL click stream data, including timestamps, referring and exit pages, and the pages you visited on the Service; and/or - for location-based Services, your location data, such as where you are located on the event floor. We collect this data through our servers and the use of cookies and other technologies, including Bluetooth and RFID chips. You can control cookies through your browser settings and other tools. However, if you block certain cookies, you may not be able to register, log in, access certain parts or fully use the Service. For more details, see the Cookie Privacy Policy. You can control or limit the location data collected via mobile applications by changing your preferences in the location services preferences menu on your device or through your choices regarding the use of Bluetooth and other network interfaces you may use to interact with our Service. However, the use of RFID technologies, such as in the case of wristbands, may be necessary for you to access certain events. We also collect footage and images captured by audio, video or photography in the course of the event. 

How we use your information
Depending on how you interact with us and the Service, we use your personal information to: - provide, enable and manage your access to and use of the Service, including your participation in events - process and fulfill a request, order, download or other transaction; - provide customer, technical, product and other support, and help maintain the Service in a safe and workable condition; - improve the Service and our other products and services and develop new products, services and benefits; - provide you with customized content and other personalization features to make the Service more relevant to your interests and geographic area; - respond to your requests, questions, comments and concerns; - inform you of changes, updates and other announcements related to the Service and our other products and services; - provide targeted advertising, promotional messages, notices and other information about our products, events and services, our affiliates and third parties, such as exhibitors, sponsors, licensees and media partners; - invite you to participate in user tests and surveys - identify usage patterns and develop data analysis, including for research, audit, reporting and other business purposes, including determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and evaluating our business performance - ensuring health and safety at our events; and/or - comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. We may also use your information to: - provide relevant networking, speaker sessions, presentations and product recommendations from exhibitors as part of our event matchmaking services based on the preferences and interests you list during registration, your interactions on our websites, platforms and at our events; and/or - include them in attendee directories to provide visitors, exhibitors and sponsors with the names and business contact information of people attending the event. 

Sharing your information
Our Service Providers Depending on the Service provided, we share personal information with: - our service providers, suppliers and representatives, including, but not limited to, payment processors, venue providers, on-site event contractors, customer support, email service providers, IT service providers, mailing companies, and carriers; to process the information necessary to provide the Service, complete a transaction, fulfill your request, or on our behalf, based on our instructions and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and any other appropriate privacy and security measures. 

Your choices
We share your personal information with exhibitors, sponsors, media partners, co-contractors and other third parties who wish to send you information about their products and services that may be of interest to you, as determined by your choices in managing your communication preferences and other settings. The Service may include participant forums and directories that allow you to create a profile, post and share personal information, comments, documents and other content to enable others to communicate with you. Any of these contributions that you disclose publicly may be collected and used by others, may be indexed by search engines and may not be removable. Please use caution when disclosing personal information in these public areas. The Service may allow you to share your virtual "business card" information with an exhibitor, sponsor or association by placing your event identification badge on a badge scanning device at a booth or other venue related to that event. This also allows you to receive information about their products or services directly to the email address you provide. When you enter a virtual space, area or room at an event, your registration information may be shared with other attendees, including the sponsor or exhibitor, to facilitate event networking, real-time video conferencing, online discussions and/or virtual business card drop-offs, subject to additional notices. 

Legal reasons
We will disclose your personal information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to: - comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or other legal obligation; - detect, investigate and help prevent security, fraud or technical problems; and/or - protect the rights, property, health or safety of our users, employees or others; and in connection with a corporate transaction, such as an asset transfer or acquisition by or merger with another company. 

Additional Processing
Editorial Content and Event Submissions When you submit content, such as writing an article, producing a video, or other products, or when you speak at our event, we will process certain additional personal information about you, including: - biography or professional profile, produced or approved by you, which may contain your image, likeness or voice, which may be published and made available to our subscribers, audiences attending events or published online via our websites and social networks for promotional purposes; and - internal editorial content, reviews, comments or feedback. 

Job Postings
When you create a candidate profile on our jobs page, you can upload your resume, contact information and list your areas of professional interest, which you can update, edit or delete at any time. You may choose to allow recruiters access to your profile. However, we cannot restrict which clients have access to the profiles on our job page, which may be your current employer. We cannot be held responsible for this eventuality. Although access is limited to customers on our job page and we require them to agree to use the platform for recruitment purposes only, we do not verify their identity or control their subsequent use, disclosure or retention of information. 

Your Communication and Matching Preferences
You may customize and manage your communication preferences and other settings when you sign up for the Service, by updating your account features and preferences, by using the unsubscribe or opt-out mechanism or other means provided in the communications you receive, or by contacting us. We reserve the right to notify you of changes or updates to the Service whenever necessary. You may opt out of personalized matchmaking and receiving recommendations based on our most popular results, [by selecting "unsubscribe" during the registration process, by unsubscribing via subsequent emails, or by contacting us at the address listed below]. Access to Your Information and Updates Self Service The Service may allow you to directly access and review your account, profile and participant directory information and make corrections, updates or deletions at any time. You are solely responsible for updating this information. You may also close your account, delete your profile or remove your information from the participant directory via the Service or by contacting the Service's customer support. 

Who to Contact for Information
You have the right under the European Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), European laws and certain other privacy and data protection laws, as applicable, to request free of charge: - Access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information; - restriction of our processing of your personal information, or to object to our processing; and - portability of your personal information. Any request related to the exercise of your rights should be sent to marketing@ mix-energy.com. This request should include as much information as possible (including the company, brand or department to which your request relates), so that it can be processed upon receipt within a maximum of two months: for example, individuals should specify the e-mail address for which they are requesting information in order to facilitate searches. To protect your privacy and security, we may ask to verify your identity. 

How long we keep your information
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and carry out the transactions you have requested, or for other essential purposes such as meeting our legal obligations, maintaining business and financial records, resolving disputes, maintaining security, detecting and preventing fraud and abuse, and fulfilling our agreements. 

Online Privacy for Children
We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 15 and do not target the Service to children under 15.

All data collected by QILINN is stored and processed in the European Union and as a rule in France by European partners.

Where we rely on your consent to process personal information, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, and where we rely on legitimate interests, you have the right to object to our processing.

We will update this Privacy Policy from time to time. All changes will be posted on this page and the revision date will be updated. If we make material changes, we will send notification through the Service or other means.
