DIANA SOLAR HEATERS INDUSTRY

Description

Solar thermal water heaters The proven technology of our water heaters will enable you to make substantial savings on your electricity bills while protecting the environment by reducing CO2 emissions. The thermosiphon solar water heater (tank higher than the panel(s)) works naturally without electricity and without a circulation pump. It consists of two circuits: - the solar circuit, consisting of the panel and an exchanger on the periphery of the tank - the domestic hot water circuit connected to the mains network in the central part of the tank. In the solar circuit, the water and its additive (a simple antifreeze for cold countries) are heated by the sun under the glass. As it heats up, the water becomes lighter than the cold water and rises by itself through the copper tubes of the panel to transfer its heat to the upper tank, thanks to the contact between the domestic water and the heat exchanger on the periphery of the tank. The water in the primary circuit cools after this exchange and returns to the bottom of the panel to start the same cycle again. Water tank : - 2.5 mm thick steel (pressurised), enamelled to DIN 4753 - Polyurethane insulation, 50mm thick, density 50kg/m3 - Outer sheath in anodised aluminium for long life. - Electrical resistance in ΙΝΟΧ, 4kW power with integrated magnesium anode to protect against corrosion. Solar panel: - Aluminium frame - Rear and side insulation in 30mm thick rock wool, λ=0.033 - Copper fins, selective absorption α=95%, laser welded to Φ8 diameter copper pipe - Copper manifold Φ22 diameter, special design for minimum pressure drop. - Securit tempered glass, 3.2 mm Low iron content
