Description
European industry has suffered greatly from the successive crises of the last five years. Reaching the -55% target by 2030 is still possible, provided that decarbonization is further accelerated....While several European and national programs are attempting to revitalize the secondary sector by creating new industries or relocating them, industries are struggling and we are seeing a growing number of closures. Energy availability and cost, energy autonomy/sovereignty... Energy policy and its challenges in terms of climate neutrality, security of supply and also affordability, highlight the complexity of the choices that lie ahead.
What is the actual implementation of the new measures at European level? How can we transform Europe and make decarbonization and re-industrialization go hand in hand?
