ENGIE Solutions signs a new contract with one of the historic industrialists of Burgundy Franche Comté: STELLANTIS in Sochaux (25)!

🍃 New example of supporting an industrial client in its objective of energy autonomy and decarbonization!
Indeed, after the establishment of a Biomass in Rennes, ENGIE Solutions now makes it possible to supply the historic production plant of the Stellantis Group (formerly PSA) in Sochaux via the design/construction/operation/financing/sale of heat of a biomass boiler room.
With a power of 11 MW, the boiler room will cover 68% of the plant's steam needs.
It will be supplied by SOVEN with biomass (55% forest chips and 45% pallet shreds).
From the 1st quarter of 2026, STELLANTIS will avoid the release of 13,500 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere per year, or 73 GWh PCS of unconsumed gas each year.
