Canson (Annonay's plant) decarbonizes its energy needs with ENGIE Solutions

Description

CANSON and ENGIE Solutions formalized on November 23, 2023, a 10-year partnership for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of a biomass boiler room on the Saint-Marcel-Lès-Annonay Ardèche site of CANSON, paper manufacturer for the Fine Arts market. With the support of ENGIE Solutions, this biomass boiler will complement the approach undertaken by CANSON for several years to control its carbon footprint and energy consumption. This biomass plant will thus avoid the emission of nearly 5,715 tonnes of fossil-based CO per year. Thus, ENGIE Solutions will provide nearly 31 GWh of useful heat per year in the form of steam.
