ENGIE Solutions had 2 challenges
* Replacement of the current boiler with a biomass boiler
with a power of 20 MW (25 TB/h) for the site's steam production.
* Increase in current coverage rate and conversion of natural gas into renewable steam
We have therefore found numerous solutions to maintain continuity of service for the proper functioning of the factory and have installed modernized energy equipment that is more committed to the energy transition!
* 75% of wood energy used transported within a radius of less than 100 km
* 44,000 tonnes of biomass mobilized per year
* €12.7 million invested in the new boiler room
* Renewable energy rate: increase from 63% to 85% (change from 15 to
26,000 tonnes of CO2 avoided per year)
* 43% subsidy from ADEME as part of the France Relance plan
